i forgot to mention wire's "read and burn" ep's, especially the 2nd one. yow.
One that comes to mind.
The Verve - No come down
I was thinking RHP's Shock Me, too, before I saw the other posts. Eps & splits are such curious creatures, aren't they? - kinda the material equivalent of the artist's "Sundays & Holidays" :-)

Whoops!!! Didn't see the non-Idaho part of the subject.
I agree with the Red House Painters' "Shock Me". Another great EP is Soul Whirling Somewhere's "Pyewackit". And if we're including Idaho EPs, of course "The Forbidden EP" would be on the list, too.
Pavement - Watery Domestic.
red house painters shock me anyone ?
Polvo - Celebrate the New Dark Age
Swell - Room to think E.P.
Sparklehorse, Distorted Ghost EP
national skyline's first 2 ep's... especially the 1st s/t one.
Bedhead's Lepidoptera EP.
I like Seldom - 'Places I haven't seen' EP.
Boards of Canada - Twoism
the letter e ep and that kepler ep
I guess at the moment my favorite EP is tremulant ep - 19:29
the only bad thing about a good EP is that they go by too quickly.
i would have to say mine is antarctica - 23:03, but it's a tough call.
