RE: this website is injured | from jeffFeb 13 2003 - 22:37

when i get final cut working on my computer( any day now) i plan on putting quicktime idaho clippies up on the site...oh what fun....

RE: this website is injured | from brianFeb 13 2003 - 19:51

Jeff,
i know i'd like to see how you have things set up to record and if you're using anything different or new or something not used in a while, etc. with pics. maybe a mini quicktime film.
thanks.

RE: this website is injured | from Rob SFeb 13 2003 - 19:10

I didn't ask you Dolph...But thanks anyway. Freeballer.

RE: this website is injured | from Jason EisertFeb 13 2003 - 17:21

John, THANK YOU SO MUCH MAN!!!
I feel complete now. You're the man!

RE: this website is injured | from dolphFeb 13 2003 - 05:19

I'll give you a blood sample you'll never forget! And no, of course I don't wear underpants, but thanks for asking. Dolph

RE: this website is injured | from Rob SFeb 12 2003 - 23:40

I'd like a blood sample and the current brand of underpants you are wearing. Do you wear underpants?

Jeff-- I agree with the guys above...anything you tell us about upcoming projects is appreciated, but really the most important thing you can give us is always your music...it's always well worth the wait.

RE: this website is injured | from micahFeb 12 2003 - 12:17

1. a general idea of when this project will be wrapped up/released

i think there probably isn't one yet, and that's why it hasn't been announced. it would be better not to announce one too early and then have it end up being later. if there is a general idea though, that's cool.

2. any notes or tidbits about songs from the new project (i.e. song names, feel of the music, whose playing on the sessions, etc.)

this is not a bad idea at all, but again not absolutely necessary.

3. (and this may be a web-surfers pipe dream but i'll suggest it anyway...) samples of the new material as mp3's?

i'm with Dean on this one, i'd rather hear the whole album with the songs in order when it comes out. but i'm sure people are divided on this one.

i don't really have any suggestions of my own at the moment.

RE: this website is injured | from DeanFeb 12 2003 - 08:37

Personally, I'd prefer to wait for the LP and for it to be a surprise like in the golden olden days...
sigh....

RE: this website is injured | from farmcafeFeb 12 2003 - 08:08

since you asked for the help, here's a couple things that could satiate the hunger pangs of these animals until the new album is in their grubby hands:

1. a general idea of when this project will be wrapped up/released

2. any notes or tidbits about songs from the new project (i.e. song names, feel of the music, whose playing on the sessions, etc.)

3. (and this may be a web-surfers pipe dream but i'll suggest it anyway...) samples of the new material as mp3's?

like i said, you asked, so i complied. and i'm not begging or demanding, just offering suggestions like you requested. if you don't have the time, so be it. i'd rather have the new album than all that stuff anyway.

RE: this website is injured | from BurrisFeb 12 2003 - 01:12

ignore the fool Jeff.
Take your time and do what you do.

RE: this website is injured | from jeffFeb 11 2003 - 23:54

the bruce wayne comparisonis a good one..however, i dont have the ability to work on music all fricken day and night...i go for months without writting or recording a thing...the silence between the event is just as important as anything....there is no excuse for letting the web site festor. i just dont have anything novel to report and in case you forgot there are no other members of idaho....although id have to say that drumming sensation bryan kertenian is steering this next CD somewhere far and beyond this planet ....if you'd all like to hear his impressions of working with me up here at the compond i'll give him a page on the site .....ill try to get some mp3's and videos up soon...i swear .
what are some things you'd all like to see on the site ....help me dang it !

RE: this website is injured | from "floundering" fanFeb 11 2003 - 23:35

i guess jeff martin is the only one with the ability to enter a log. it would be impossible for another member to type something. i understand jeff is hard at work, but you guys make it sound like he is God Damn Bruce Wayne or something. i doubt the man does nothing but record all day and night. i am starting to think that he literally locks himself up for months? most likely the batcave ha!

yo jason,

everything you say i concur with,

i'd rather hear jeff's new tunes and give him as much time as he needs to make it as good as he can, then read his latest fucking website update

RE: this website is injured | from daleFeb 08 2003 - 19:46

ok ouch! we understand the the sight does need more info but don't hurt our feelings!
a new record is begining to happen. it takes time re-inventing the wheel. we'll dig up gossip and dish soon.

RE: this website is injured | from edFeb 08 2003 - 10:04

Popcorn and porn. Isn't life grand.

RE: this website is injured | from JBFeb 08 2003 - 03:58

That's ma boy JASON talkin' here!!!

WORD

(Jason, Treats are on the way!)

RE: this website is injured | from Jason EisertFeb 07 2003 - 11:12

Hey "Floundering," don't mess with ma' hommies, just enjoy the music and keep your mouth shut. If you don't like this site, which I'll reiterate is very informitive and fast, get the fuck off and go visit the backstreet boys or britney spears sites. What other band (that is a good band anyway) do you know that actually responds to your inquiries? All I ask is you treat these hard working musical geniuses with respect and keep the negative to yourself. If your so bored, pop in some porn, eat some cheetos and go to town. That may be something interesting for you to do...maybe you could even create a website about it with updates about your experiences every single day!

RE: this website is injured | from Alex N.Feb 06 2003 - 13:35

To Burris' comment, I hope it is very piano heavy. I love Jeff's piano work as much as his four-string guitar work. A perfect new Idaho album for me would be picking up where "Levitate" left off.

RE: this website is injured | from Jeff B. Feb 03 2003 - 18:42

Can we get some obnoxious pop-up ads up in dis piece?

RE: this website is injured | from micahFeb 03 2003 - 13:26

yeah, i like the fact that i don't have to wait an hour for this site to load....and that i don't have to wait years for each new Idaho album.

RE: this website is injured | from ckFeb 03 2003 - 12:40

I completely agree with "Floundering Fan." Please put down your instruments and devote yourselves to the website. Sure, there won't be any more Idaho albums or tours, but we will all have up to date info about what's not happening.

RE: this website is injured | from BurrisFeb 03 2003 - 05:50

We really can take or leave the musak but demand topless dancing girls on the site!!
Endured by a mole poker??
John: Come on, give us a little bitta gossip about the new album?? Is it very piano heavy or ?????

RE: this website is injured | from JBFeb 03 2003 - 01:56

Hey "Floundering"...
How do think the website is "injured"? Do you need high dollar Macromedia flash graphics to keep you interested? 'cause if you do, I'll get right on that. You just say the word, and we'll hop right to it...but of course the next Idaho release will be in 2005...oh and funny you should mention it it's working title is "Injured like a pole smoker".

RE: this website is injured | from micahFeb 02 2003 - 23:11

updating it in what way? if you're talking about news, sure it can be frustrating for fans not to know what's up...but the last update was what less than two months ago and jeff said he was "writing and recording like a madman", i believe. be patient.

if you mean updating it in another way, please specify.

website duties | from "floundering" fanFeb 02 2003 - 20:50

i am certain that idaho is very busy, however it would seem that updating this website has become more of a chore for mr. martin than an interest.
