I think Trust takes a little more time to get into. Mimi's voice is super, she should defintely sing more. I like the cover art, it reminds me that Afghan whigs cover minus the stitches.

With the exceptions of "Canada" and "Tonight," I was kinda disappointed in Trust. It didn't move me as intensely or immediately as Things We Lost in the Fire and its predecessors. And what the hell's up with the cover art? Me no understand.

I agree that Mimi should definitely sing solo more often. Her vocals are understated but resonate with a rich depth and soul that really compliment the songs.

I'm listening to "Trust" again. Damn this record is amazing. Anyone who can listen to the song "Tonight" and not be moved has something wrong with them.

I actually first heard Idaho when I saw them opening for Low at the Knitting Factory in NYC in 1996. That was also the first time I ever saw Low. It was a magical and significant night in my life.

Their new album, "Trust," is wonderful and well worth its full retail value. They have never made a bad album and their best music has literally moved me to tears, something no other band has ever done to me.

Yes aj,
I'd have to say also that Low is really, really, really good. In fact I would have to add one more really.

I agree that Mimi should sing more. Alan voice doesn't compare to hers. (No offense, Alan)

Idaho is a drug, thus all the trouble...

Trust is a great album though I think Things We Lost In The Fire might be a little better.I wish Mimi would sing lead more often,I like her voice alot.

You can't take Idaho to Canada, that's what.

Drugs is actually the obvious and correct answer, I believe.

word.

I like how they're trying something new, but more and more it seems like they're getting restless with the sound they've carved out. Sometimes I wish they's just get it over with and make a straight-up pop album.

Extreme restraint isn't interesting if it just becomes another songwriting formula.

what is the stuff can't you take to Canada?

why can't I take that stuff up there?

'Trust' is a pretty good album, but I think it's not their best.
However, Low's weaker albums are far better than most band's best albums. This, of course, coming from one who is quite partial to Low.
It's getting to be time to break out their 'Christmas' album. If you don't have it, get it. Even if it's a seasonal album, I think it's one of their best...
They have a really powerful live performance, as well.

'Trust' just blew me away, I love it. Particularly 'Shots & Ladders', 'Last Snow storm of the year' and 'Point of Disgust'
