Oh by the way, does anyone know anything about "Steering Wheel"? Was this record ever released? And if so, when?

RE: Café de la danse | from MathieuOct 01 2002 - 01:04

just after going on, I think there were 3 other new tracks: one I don't know the title, and then "Lately" and "Up for living".

Somebody could complete the setlist :

intro

shoulder back
the thick and the thin
alive again
to be the one
levitate
get you back
hearts of palm
stare at the sky
?
20 years

Well, I was there too and it was just amazing. I think there was something like 5 or 6 new songs played during the set. Very melodic, and I didn't thought that Jeff was so tehnic on piano!! Of course, The place of the the guitar has become definitely ambient.

Personnaly, I LOVE the new "concept". Idaho has now a too big catalog for just playing the Year after Year songs. If I remember, The only guitar songs were taken from the Forbidden EP (one of my favorite recording too). The big rest was from Heart of Palm and Levitate.

3. John told me after the gig that his "magic box" was down during the gig. Anyway, thanks Jeff, John and the two other members (what a drummer!) for this intimate moment.

Scooby Doo

Is there someone who has recorded the gig? ;-p

I thought the show was great; and we got to hear about 5 new songs, I think...
They sounded really great, especially "Lately" and "Up for living" (hope I didn't misunderstood the titles though).
Thanks guys!

(And I liked the video stuff too...)

Hello everybody
I'm a big big fan of Idaho and, naturally, I went to their show at "Le café de la danse" last saturday. 1. the sound was great.
2. is projecting this kind of videos so helpfull?
3. I was very frustrated not to hear more the sound of John B.
4. Where are the "Year after year" songs?

Best regards, Emmanuel
