Here's a good interview with Arlie Carstnes of Juno:

I have all their albums and I love them all!
If you don't listen to zeroartradio, give it a listen. it's the only net station I've found that plays them and lots of other great stuff...
C-clamp (longer waves) and Idaho come in at a tie for me.
C Clamp, Castor, American Football all coo'.
Idaho is still the best.
I love my quiet and i love my loud. I'm torn between both worlds. Not such a bad place to be really. Sammy ..."Lula" was put out thru Desoto too. Have you heard "the egg" yet? I'm waiting for my copy in the mail.
You a C-clamp fan?
I had their first record and eventually sold it. It just didn't do much for me.
Oh, and they're waaaay too loud live. I hate that shit.
Splay (their 1st) was on DeSoto, though their 2nd and 3rd Lula Divinia and Starless werent on DeSoto.
I figured they werent coming back to DeSoto, but me wrong I guess...
SHINER and JUNO rule!! Shiner's new album "the Egg" was released thru Desoto. Are they not on Desoto anymore?
Nate Mendel (sunny day real estate) did some of the bass work on the last Juno album.
Oh, Shiner isnt on that label anymore. Sitll a was really good label.
DeSoto is a good label.
Shiner on that label.
Juno is incredible. I think their first album "This is the way it goes..." is even better than the second one. They're from Seattle and they've toured a bunch but they're currently on hiatus. They need to find a new label as Desoto Records is coming to an end.
You can find out more about them at:

There's a post on the message board with a link to an interview where the singer lists Idaho as one of favorite bands...
I have a Juno synthesizer made by Roland.
Its a Juno-106.
Its analog.
Has anyone heard this band? I love Idaho and was talking with a friend in NY the other day and she recommended Juno to me. I think she said they're from maybe S.F. or Seattle? I downloaded two of their songs off kazaa and holy shit! So bought their record, a future lived in past tense. Some of the songs have an Idaho hearts of palm feeling to them. And then some of the other songs kick ass like Mogwai. Does anyone know anything more about this band? Do they tour? Do they have other records? Maybe they should play in NY with Idaho sometime....If anyone knows anything more about this band please post. I figured someone here would know something about Juno? This is my first time posting on the Idaho site! Jeff, thanks for giving us "Levitate!"
