The legendary RF!

If anyone's looking to hear a great band i highly suggest Full White Drag including Ryan. Amazing stuff...

RE: why why why | from adamApr 09 2002 - 11:35

Yes, P, that Ryan Fields.

RE: why why why | from Seth HowardApr 08 2002 - 21:39

"why why why" indeed.

RF! | from PApr 08 2002 - 13:32

Adam,

You refered to Ryan Fields quite a long time ago and i have just read this board. I was wondering if you are refering to the 4th man in "Full White Drag"?

I hope you read this...

RE: why why why | from the original idaho fanApr 07 2002 - 22:55

when jeff martin and john berry were born in that september of august 1958. As i stood watching and grimaced in pain it didn't occur to me that i had just witnessed the births of two of twentieth centuries graetest geniuses. Martin with his ground breaking algorithms determining the logic of farm animals and john berry of course went on to patent that magical embem of my childhood, the egg slicing machine. Even now as i am ass-fucked by my japanese boyfriend. I didn't know that adam was living in illusion, and that susan331 had had several children with bobmangus, and that Jk was scaling telephone poles just to make ends meet. Life is truely painful. Well, let me ease all of your minds a little, for i was the first, i came before even the nut had burst.

RE: why why why | from christianApr 05 2002 - 05:20

The second? Damn. Now I guess I have some competition. Who's the other guy? I'll fight him to the death!!!!!!!!!

RE: why why why | from susan331Apr 04 2002 - 17:18

Christian, yours is actually the second marriage proposal I've gotten in as many months! Mother will be so proud...

RE: why why why | from michelApr 04 2002 - 12:13

o come on Chris!

as much as i favour discussion in general I fully agree this thread became a good laugh. So what's really the problem here? A couple of people debating pretty straight forward? I see worse things happen right outside my window my friends! Somehow I don't think this is affecting you as much like you say, it shouldn't anyway.
Talk to you soon, man.

RE: why why why | from chrisApr 04 2002 - 11:51

sadly enough i agree... reading the excretory junk on this message board disillusions me. when this message board was first put up it was a great way to talk about Idaho and their music, with likeminded fans. now it's polluted with all these wanna-be indie punks trying to spout their false credibility by insulting others. not only is it pathetic but to me it somehow takes away from the beauty of Idaho's music. so from now on i'm just going to listen to my idaho records, see them live when i can, and forget about this idiotic message board. bye!

RE: why why why | from ashApr 04 2002 - 11:33

alas... one loving soul out there with their head on straight...

suck it up people and don't take things so seriously... cripes, i can think of a hundred things i'd rather do than bicker about this shit... get away from the computer... c'mon people, take a walk outside, get some fresh-air !!!

goddamnit, aj, if i lived in L.A. i'd be down there buyin' you a beer on sunday !

RE: why why why | from ajApr 04 2002 - 10:19

this is pretty damn typical. clearly illustrates why i completely removed myself from the 'scene'. you are all more similar to one another than you acknowledge (meaning those caught up in this little war of words via posts). you are all smart. you are all special. chill out, and have a few beers with each other at the upcoming show this sunday at derby. isn't that what this board is supposed to be about?

RE: why why why | from christianApr 04 2002 - 05:59

susan - i think i love you. will you marry me? i'm not kidding.

RE: why why why | from adamApr 03 2002 - 19:37

Blah has an "h".....

RE: why why why | from JKApr 03 2002 - 18:51

bla bla bla.

RE: why why why | from adamApr 03 2002 - 18:40

crusted.

RE: why why why | from susan331Apr 03 2002 - 17:37

How perfectly thoughtful of you to include me in your latest seep of verbal excrement, JK! Although there are a few points with which I would like to take issue. I'll be sure to speak veeeery sloooowly and use small words and short sentences so you'll be sure to understand.

*stepping up to podium and tapping mic to ensure it's on*

You have absolutely no business telling me how I should conduct myself in my professional life. I am my own boss and work for myself. You are correct in that I do have an obligation to my editors and the publications I write for. I must abide by their style guidelines, meet their deadlines and provide them with well-written copy that fits into the spaces they have to fill whether it's a magazine cover or a 300-word blurb. If my editors-- or anyone else, for that matter-- tried to dictate to me how I should behave outside of that context, I'd kindly advise them to fuck right off. (Which, incidentally, you're also welcomed to do at any point you see fit.) If I feel like dressing up as a dominatrix for Halloween, so be it. If I feel like getting my picture taken with a cop at a sobriety checkpoint while groping his nightstick in a suggestive manner, so be it. If I feel the need to dance on the bar at a San Francisco supper club until they throw me out, I do so. If I feel like accompanying my friends on a drunken rampage of thievery and disorderly conduct across Disneyland, I do it.
(I could go on, but you get the idea.) On that same note, I'd bet that most if not all of my editors have better things to do than fret over what I may or may not be posting on a message board-- even if I'm posting something directed at a drooling, impotent, spastic, knuckle-dragging, oxygen-thieving birth defect like yourself.

And as for my readership, I owe them nothing. If a reader enjoys my writing and compliments me on it-- something several people on this message board have been kind enough to do-- that's wonderful and I appreciate it. If not, that's hardly my problem. I can't change how someone perceives my work any more than you can help being chromosomally-deficient. That's just how it is.

In closing, JK, I'd like to advise you to withdraw your head from your ass so as to make room for the size-9 shoe it has coming. You've more than earned it.

"The Industry" markets to little people from the ages of 7 to 15 these days, and if you as a musician dont have a marketability to somewhere in that agerange, they wont even cut you a demo deal. Japanese economics applied to art? The again, who owns most of the labels?...

See, I did nothing and yet adam tries to shove some nonsense down my way. Im cool, adam, try to be cool also, k?

RE: why why why | from JKApr 03 2002 - 12:57

I call a truce adam, you started it, you finished it, not please quit!!! Others are annoyed!!!

RE: why why why | from ashApr 03 2002 - 10:26

i think he was struggling to keep his 'terry-cloth' bath robe tied with that 'rock-star' guitar strap of his...

it went quite well with mr. martin's mini-skirt and go-go boots, though...

aw.. smile, JB !

RE: why why why | from adamApr 03 2002 - 09:55

What was he wearing? In my dreams it's always purple taffata, or some scrunchy lycra.......

RE: why why why | from ashApr 03 2002 - 09:50

c'mon guys, spread the love...

we're all here for a reason - and i'd tend to beleive that it has something to do with great music i.e. our pals I D A H O ...

i'm sure the last thing you'd want to do is make them feel bad for offering us this forum.

oh yeah, JB, you wanted to hear something REALLY funny? how about this: you were in my dream last night. i think you were getting set to hit the stage, but the club had windows all around and it was in the daytime... some comment was made about the fog outside.. go figure.. all i have to say is that it was pretty freakin bizzare..

at least, maybe, the bickering will subside for a minute while everyone has a chuckle at my expense...

peace

RE: why why why | from adamApr 03 2002 - 09:04

Okay.

This is the last time I'm going to respond to this topic. Joe, you need to lighten up, man. And you need to take your own advice. You get flamed on this board because you take yourself way too seriously and you pass judgement on people totally undeserving of your hypocritical (and rarely entertaining) criticism. And when people like myself respond with like sarcasm, you get your panties in a bunch.

I find it hilarious that you want to get into a pissing match about who understands Idaho's lyrics better, who's been a fan the longest, what kind of person can really appreciate Idaho's music.

"I really dont think you can understand IDAHOS music, you doubtfully would get it (I doubt you even listen to the lyrics!!!)"

We understand, Joe. You got here first, so you can act like a complete horses ass without any fear of reciprocation. If you're gonna dish it out, you gotta learn to take it.

Get a life, dude. This is petty indie-kid snobbery bullshit. And for the record, I think Susan is a pretty funny person. So, Joe, if you can't take the heat for your stupid posts, than just stop posting these self-conscious, arrogance-filled diatribes.

adam (wouldn't be caught dead taking ridiculous pseudo-intellectual psychological advice from a hypocritical, self-aggrandizing lunatic)

RE: why why why | from John BerryApr 03 2002 - 03:24

This shit is lame. I much prefer to see people unloading on solicitors or David Lanz, not each other. I have met a lot of people who post on this message board. And Most of them I consider friends. I don't want to get in the middle of this shit, but I don't want to see people I like bickering like morons........unless it's REALLY funny. This thread is not.
Enough of the stupid resentments.
Be nice, or I'll have Jeff Martin come down here and crack some heads.

RE: why why why | from JKApr 03 2002 - 01:25

Right adam like you never ripped on me or anyone else on this board before the ryan incident pfffttt!!! Man, youve been all over me since day one, and you really deserve your just deserts. Beware, judgemental fools, you might just get payback for things you do to peave others. Sure you dont get it now, but you will when you have to (corrupting personal relationships etc).

I really dont care what people think or dont think of you adam. You tend to be generally a jerk here on this board. I am an I D A H O fan here, and youve constantly passed judgement on me and others here for simply being cool and decently real. Im simply protecting myself from you in what I may have done, and Im playing your game back to you.

Most people here are quite introspective and have gathered a genuine realist perspective on thier emotions, and thats why theyre attracted to I D A H O s music and what it has said. For some reason I dont see you fitting into that realm...I really dont think you can understand IDAHOS music, you doubtfully would get it (I doubt you even listen to the lyrics!!!)

You seemed to have unleashed the beast in me, with your constantly lude remarks (as well as susans lame spellcheck and other rhetorics of judgement and predatory analness). Be real with yourself and others and youll find that things can flow quite a bit smoother.

Life is a compromise, give/take give/take etc. If you take from people and tend to be a vampire to them, you may not have any lasting connections with anyone.

If you have had a problem with me in the past, you should simply post it in the APPROPRIATE place, and I can apologize (im pretty sincere with these things and do it when I feel that Im wrong, I try to hear people out if they have an issue with me). The reason why I posted what I did is due to the fact that the threads topic dealt with who we thought was lame on the board. I simply expressed my views on why I didnt like this person and why I didnt like the spams of his bands on the board. Somebody asked, and I was straight up.

Dont be passive-aggressive and act like things are fine, only to act like a friend and stab me in the back 6 months later, like most passive-aggressive people would tend to do. If thats your qualm, then I apologize. Yet you and susan tend to constantly bombard me with bull-shite in your childish manner, much before this or the ryan incident.

Im suprised that susan writes for a mildly popular publication, since she can be constantly insincere to everyone here. She should be good to the readers, cause they can read YOU here as well. Status is nothing!!!Id honestly be embarrassed that I was as rude as susan while admitting that I wrote for the publication that she does. It tarnishes the whole magazines reputation. Shes done it to other here (including me).

Im here, Im an I D A H O fan, I definitely wont leave. Learn how to deal with people, children (and you will by trial and error throughout life). Be real with others!!! I swear people think theyre reliving their high school glory days constantly, or passing on the bad that they recieved from others way back then when they can (transference), but youll go nowhere doing that.

Really Im a very cool person, I just wonder if youd ever give me that chance, which I seriously doubt from what youve been like in the past.

Joe (doesnt care in the least bit what you kids think, cause you discovered I D A H O last year and dont even listen to lyrics)

RE: why why why | from adamApr 02 2002 - 22:01

JK, I've been picking on you because you made fun of Ryan Fields a few weeks back and it was uncalled for. That, and you ask for it repeatedly with your inane posts. So keep the homo-criticisms coming, 'cause they are sadly the mightiest weapon in your armory of rhetoric.

love, the real adam

RE: why why why | from adamApr 02 2002 - 21:53

Beware fellow Idaho fans. This messageboard is rife with imposters.

RE: why why why | from JKApr 02 2002 - 20:50

Geez adam, you seem to be so loosened up because your crapper is currently being re-alligned. Make sure he washes it off before you kiss him.

RE: why why why | from adamApr 02 2002 - 20:46

No, hes still drinking unfortunately. Im 26 and I cant get out of his house, hes so controlling. Hes currently got a stronghold on my poop shute.

Gotta go, this is the part where it really HURTS!!!

RE: why why why | from HeffeApr 02 2002 - 20:38

Hmmm...sounds like he SHOULD be!!!

RE: why why why | from bob mangusApr 02 2002 - 20:36

Hes probably had too much of that Detroit smog in his system, mixed with the constant beating and raping by his father. Hows old dad, Adam? Is he still on the wagon?

RE: why why why | from JKApr 02 2002 - 20:34

How old are you adam? Maybe that demeaning stuff worked in high school, but its probably interfered with your life so much you have no real friends, and your left with just this illusion called the net.

RE: why why why | from adamApr 02 2002 - 20:30

hehehe...... Mikey, you kill me.

RE: why why why | from Mike C.Apr 02 2002 - 19:35

JK,

You need to loosen up a bit...oh come to think of it, I think your boyfriend has that department covered with the ass fucking and all. April Fools!!!!!!!!!...Oops, today is April 2nd, my bad.

why am I now just discovering Idaho? so many lost years...so much music faded from memory...all the while, a vast selection of timelessness...better late than never, I suppose
