Ya youre critically acc..lamed, for sure David...

RE: finding paradise | from JBMar 07 2002 - 14:57

Dave, that's so weird. My recollection of that evening in question is so different from yours........I remember some hack new age freak approach me, offering money to go into an alley.
I remember pouring motor oil on my arm and.................."operating" you like a demented puppet. It was only when you dipped into the Amyl nitrate and started crooning like Ethyl Merman, did I become affraid for my safty. However,I do understand your need to "romantasize" the encounter.
I wish you the best of luck in selling ANOTHER 5 records to your family this year. Now, please stop stalking me.

RE: finding paradise | from DLMar 07 2002 - 07:55

John,

I am so hurt by your words. I cannot describe to you my deep sorrow... I would never gaze at groups of men after seeing you live, in person, at an IDAHO show.

Don't you remember me? That night in the village? I waited for you after the show and you came to me. We held each other softly until the morning sun rose over your ass... It truely inspired me. The next day I sat at home in my studio and worked out the basics to "Finding Paradise", because you and I both knew, at that point, what true paradise was.

I'm a critically acclaimed artist. Now I must go. I cannot live with my self without you, John, darling.

I Love You!

David

or monkeys.

RE: finding paradise | from JBMar 07 2002 - 04:56

By the way, a heartfelt thanks for the lovely photo of yourself, Dave.................................
Are you gazing at a group of men?

New age LAP DANCE ! ! ! | from JBMar 07 2002 - 02:25

Dave, you're fruitcake. I can take one look at you and tell that you gargle sausage. Are those flowers for MOI ??? Are you trying to get a date?? Is this how you meet young boys on the internet?
That "pro" web site of yours must really impress the 7-10 year old set.
I would "take" YOUR "manhood" but, from the looks of your records, it seems someone has already done that for us.

XOXO

P.S.
Brad Mehldau is a piano player

You just suck DICK

Prune Danish please?

RE: finding paradise | from kruppersMar 05 2002 - 15:16

Just looked at the site and he looks like one of the baddies from the Cruise movie The Firm. Maybe it's his secret life...

RE: finding paradise | from kruppersMar 05 2002 - 15:14

What the hell's a goober?

RE: finding paradise | from ChrisMar 05 2002 - 11:23

Ordinarily I wouldn't take the piss
out of a musician simply trying to
make a buck, but this is just too much.

"eazzyvibe," you deserve every slam you've
received from this site. This is junk music.
And here's an undeniable fact: Anybody who
deigns to "sign" his webpage, especially with
a signature that looks like it was done
with a crayon, is a goober -- the kind of guy
who confirms his stupidity every
time he says, "I'm not stupid!"

Have you ever noticed that some people
are forced to issue that protest a lot?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAH!!!!!!!!

RE: finding paradise | from david lanz's 93 year old fatherMar 04 2002 - 18:39

french toast, please.

RE: finding paradise | from david lanz's 4 year old daughterMar 04 2002 - 15:52

i think he is my favorite in the whole wide world !

RE: finding paradise | from jordanMar 04 2002 - 10:44

I was having doubts about being able to produce music into my 30's and 40's, but if this is what I'll be up against...shit. honestly though, I like the "higher registers" touch. You must of woken up still foggy from the zinfandel and ruffies when you went to the record store. stick to enya, would you?

RE: finding paradise | from michelMar 04 2002 - 09:40

i think David Lanz is great

RE: finding paradise | from RossMar 04 2002 - 09:01

That's hilarious... what a brilliant scam. I didn't even listen to the record. I just took one look at the album covers of this guy's records (insert Fog horn sound effect here.) I thought, that can't be right. You confirmed my suspicions.

RE: finding paradise | from Rob SMar 04 2002 - 06:12

Thanx gang. I thought I was goin' nuts. I felt bad about being harsh.... but that guy sucked heaps.

RE: finding paradise | from JKMar 03 2002 - 21:36

Too much emphasis on sly marketing tactics, not enough emphasis on realist creativity. Spammers are not welcome here, David or his cohorts.

RE: finding paradise | from ddigaMar 03 2002 - 19:15

ok..I just had myself a listen and this HAS to be a joke....

RE: finding paradise | from Rob sMar 02 2002 - 05:47

I went to this site and had a listen, is this a joke?

Hey’all. I just wanted to pay my respects to David Lanz for his phenomenal new album, Finding Paradise. I woke up early Tuesday morning just to get it and I’ve already fallen in love with it. This is his best since the Evening album. I love the way he uses the higher registers of the keyboard and creates such feeling….His style is unmatched! If you haven’t heard the album…you’re missing out, trust me… go to www.davidlanz.com and listen to some tracks. Sound of Wings is an excellent song…and my favorite so far…but “That Smile” (the first single) is quite good too. Let me know what you think, I’m curious to find out.
