RE: Jeff as a poet | from JKAug 22 2001 - 17:34

Most modern day poets convey their words to music, as the market for poetry book buying isnt what it was at the turn of the century (1900). The modern day trubador uses music to get the message across, as peoples attention span is rapidly declining and most people would rather listen than read, as unfortunate as that seems. In I D A H O 's case, I think its a great blend.

I was/have been wondering, jeff was there ever an ambition there to be a poet as in being literate? I mean most lyrics would do great as poems, both for reading and reciting. Is there more texts that never made it to be in songs? Are you like writing lyrics as being poems, or do you brush'em into the songs' chords as they come instantly?
so when can we expect the bundles to read while playing the accompaning music in the background:)?
