Thanks Ashara you made my day :):):)
holy crap! that's fantastic news!
Idaho Live LP most likely released this year.
And...
Hearts of Palm/Levitate vinyl and an EP of songs I recorded in '12 this year as well.
Thanks for your patience!!! :):)
we're still here lurking, Jeff ... any shows or a release soon? Gonna burst with anticipation ...
any news here jeff? new idaho music is always worth waiting for, to say the least, but i gotta ask: might we see a new album in 2015?
Well Jeff I have played YWAD to death, and have been forced to go back to all your wondrous old stuff to satiate myself till i hear some new stuff- so will it actually happen in 2014?? Please let it happen, as Idaho are still my favourite band since I first heard Year after year, which is now quite prophetic, as it seems to be year after year I have to wait. No pressure, but I expect great things hopefully this year! cheers mate.
Jeff thanks for answering my questions, hope to see you in New York City area, i will keep checking when you are in the area, I love all of your music, keep up the great work and I also want to see your movie you are working on, please post more details soon, Thanks Steven
Hey Jeff, I just want to say I love your music and listen to it almost every day......I have 130ish songs on my computer. It's perfect music to code to during work. Looking forward to a new album. Cheers.
Come in Italy Rome, and don't forget to update the facebook page where i'm linked to! :-? YEAH!
I look forward to seeing you at an Idaho show Rob going to try my darndest to get out there again before too long!!
another vote for an NYC show here! but really I'd travel pretty far along the east coast in either (both??) direction to see some Idaho music...
I'm shooting for a late '14 release and hope to tour the US soon after Steven hope to see you at a show!!
Jeff
Jeff, Love your music, I also like Mark Kozelek very much too and have seen him so many times at the Music Hall of Williamburg in Brooklyn New York which could be a great venue for you in the NYC area, any chance you will ever tour near NYC in the near future, I have never seen you live but would really like to, Happy Thanksgiving and glad to hear a new recording is on the way for 2014
Thanks

So what do you do these days when not working on your doc? Going to LA next week for the 3rd time this year. Oh how nice it would be if there was an idaho show or a jeff sighting. One day...

You played TT the bears in Boston a longish time ago, you gave me a Levitate T-Shirt. From before then and until now your music has moved me greatly, bless you.

on the brighter side there is a Tucson Film and Music Festival that would probably air your doc. I know the creator/director of it.

I've recorded 3 new songs that I love. Much more up front vocals. These songs break new ground but are still very Idaho. I'm spending most of my time now on a documentary that I will describe soon....suffice to say it will be like an Idaho album in movie form. It's really just so much more beguiling to me right now this film/music combo....I've made over 10 Idaho records and want to branch out into something else for the next few months. That said....when I finish the doc by summer '13 I will take up the reigns of the Idaho record again full force. So expect a '14 release. It'll be worth the wait I promise!!
any news on this, jeff? any hints of what to expect in terms of sound? and are you thinking about releasing the album on vinyl again like with "you were a dick"?
C'mon! Jeff mentions a new album - no response??? Jeff, you gotta tell us whats up with this. Is it a rerelease? New material? New Idaho albums are poles in our lifes. When they arrive we adjust course, count the survivours and pray for one more. The thing is, I'm not on my knees yet. I was going to save my prayers until 2016, and hope for something before 2020.
