Thanks so much!!
I remember hearing this on the bonus CD from TLG or something, but it wasn't fully developed then--or was just a snippet...? It's a beautiful song and I really like the video. Soooo stoked about the new album. This is awesome, jeff.
Thanks Jeff, this video is really beautiful
Here's the real deal

Very impatient to hear and see this final version :)
Did you planned to include all the official videos with the documentary of the tour of 2002 on the DVD which will accompany the next album?
And is that the DVD will be published in " free region " version or there will be various edition according to the continents in whom the new album will be sold?
the "million reasons" on Malone's vimeo account is an early draft. I will post the finished video with final audio mix ASAP on youtube :)
thanks a million, tony...cool to hear the music from "drinks at 8" with words for a change. "reminder" is gorgeous, and so is the girl in the video.
You can already hear two tracks from Revoluta on vimeo:
Idaho - A Million Reasons (directed by Malone Mills)

Idaho - Reminder (directed by Sergey Tsoller)

hey jeff...any chance we might get to hear a sneak peak/preview track before the new album drops at the end of june? love the new title, "you were a dick." seems out of character for an idaho album title, but it cracks me up.
if it still happens, like the lone gunman, revoluta will be distribued by "& records" or it will be on another label?
ps: it's difficult to speak about japan without seeming superficial at the moment, but as we're talking about it (and i don't want to transform this thread in "japan aid"), but i just want to express a thought for our japanese friends who cross a difficult moment.
The Japanese version (if it still happens) has 2 extra songs with vocals and 2 extra instrumentals
a version of Revoluta including bonus tracks is planned like for The LoneGunman?
thanks az!
hey I broke the 2011 posting cherry!
oh i hoped there was more info posted here but i guess my assumptions are correct.
cute baby pic on the front page though. is that you jeff? the quality of the color seems very 70s almost like a slide not a picture.
so no new music for another 5 or 6 months and a european tour only :(
guess i'll check back in another six months to a year....
CD is most definitely coming out in march '11. Bill and I are mixing as I type.
Wurlitzer just goes direct into a neve 1272, through a Benchmark converter and then into protools digitally. Always have to carve tons of bass out when we mix.
No vinyl on this one....but theres talk of the next one being released on LP
can't wait either. any chance of a vinyl pressing of the new album, jeff? i'd buy one. hell, make it two.
also, i wanted to ask how you get those great wurlitzer sounds (though i'd understand if you didn't want to reveal your trade secrets). i'm usually pretty happy with the results i get from sticking an LDC in front of one of the built-in speakers (i've got a 200A), but your wurli parts always sound so rich, organic and full, especially on "the lone gunman". i always wondered how you got the beast to sound so good.
the main page of the site says a new idaho album is coming in march of 2011, and yet things have been oddly silent 'round these parts lately...hmm...
any hints on what we can expect on the next album, jeff? no two idaho albums really feel the same to me...they all seem to live in their own little worlds. so it'll be really interesting to hear where things are headed next. can't wait.
