ah. i don't have the linernotes. it kind of sounds like her, right, or am i hearing things? it's a superb song either way.

you mean "Bass Crawl."
no it's not Mimi. Liner notes credit it to Malone Koenig.
Mimi Parker? No.
is that the woman from Low singing on the song (forget the name) "it is not what it seems/it's exactly what you need."
^Agreed about the "driving album" comment. I think that's the only time I listen to it.
"Goldenseal" is one of Idaho's best tracks (Forbidden EP); and of course the ultra sublime Fall Around on Palms, (all of Palms is exquisite-first thing I heard from them, so also sentimental)- I think This Way Out offers Glow and Forever as its best stuff, though I think it's really a great album to listen to while driving.
Completely agree re sweep and taken. I see this as songwriting on a totally different emotional level.
not yet but I'll let you know. really looking forward to it. thanks again.
My thoughts...
This Way Out - "Sweep" and "Taken" are basically my favorite two IDAHO songs, period. I also love the first and last songs.
Forbidden EP - Love "Hold Everything"
Palms EP - Haven't listened in a while, but it's all good. Nice and dark.
hey, did you get the CD i sent you???
I've been trying to teach myself how to play bass, and have been listening to TWO and others for practice. number 7 on TWO is a really neat song. I like "drive it" on TWO too. # 3 on Alas is one of my favorite songs of all time. and Creep is very cool. glad that you're enjoying them!
i just got (thanks to gerrard) This Way Out, Forbidden Fruit EP, and Palms EP... and wow! so far my fav is This Way Out... the first 5 tracks are incredible! what are some of your thoughts on these releases?
