comps named after joy division songs are always cool (unless they're cover albums...) was their any real inspiration for this or was it spur of the moment? well if you'd want some chamber-rock/shoegazer type stuff for the next one my band would be up for it. send me an email if you'd be interested (or if you are even doing a second one.)

could you update us here, just to let us know if the pressing company has at least given you an estimated date that it will be finished? just thought i'd mention it so everyone as well as than the artists themselves can know whats going on....
i've yet to order my copy (i don't have a paypal account, and am having a pain of a time signing up for one). i've listened to all the samples and i hear some pretty impressive stuff overall. jeff's track is simply amazing. i'm honored that my band is on a comp with both jeff and everyone else.

i truly like all the samples i heard from the artists here, i like the ones i recorded, i believe in what i hear i do. i am wondering if truth heard the sample or song? if you are open to a truthful critique, i'd send you the more recent album i recorded. that i totally homemade with a thirty dollar marshal mic. hundred dollar hohner guitar, and a fourtrack boss br 532 recorder. if you honestly hate it, tell me how i could grow. as all i'd hope for anyone humble. if you like it, you could send me your cd or three dollars in the mail so i could put towards sustenance and hopefully soon some clearer recording equipment. sincerely, doug deluca. p.s. stand by what you believe and don't let anyone discourage you from your growth. the true truth, the bigger man upstairs knows what is truly good . alot like you happy spring! w w w.d o u g l a s d e l u c a . com puter

i think some of the coolest stuff is from The Boarder States and Gardin. The Mineral Tap song is something sweet as well.... Minor Ache song is cool... hell, it's all really, really good stuff.
I like your song from what I can tell from the sample, Seth. It brings to mind Eitzel's "The Invisible Man" to me.
Deluca's songs are weak, the rest are all very good.
My song sucks, but everyone else's is fantastic.

just wondering if anybody has purchased the 'something must break' compilation...i went to somethingmustbreak.com and listened to a sample of the song jeff martin performs called 'live today'...the small bit i got to hear of it sounds really nice. so if anyone has bought it, could you please let me know if the other bands are decent enough to convince me that it's worth a purchase...thanks
