That's from sweep on "this way out" and yes: it's one of the best songs ever written.

American Music Club had a song called "I'm In Heaven Now", that was definitely droney. But i'm not sure if those lyrics match. Sounds like something Eitzel would write though.

This is a long shot, but you guys are pretty knowledgeable about obscure music. I've been trying to track this song down for years, and I don't know who it's by or what it's called. The singer had a deep voice that reminds me of Mark Eitzel, and maybe Jeff Martin or Michael Gira. The music is kinda droney. So anyway, the lyrics I know are as follows:

"am I drunk enough yet?
so high above the world
all my friends call out to me
but I don't hear
I'm in heaven now"

Any help is greatly appreciated.
