RE: NEW RELEASE!!! | from adamOct 24 2003 - 23:48

I was fuckin 9 years old. Gimme a fuckin break, Nic. Ratt ruled.

RE: NEW RELEASE!!! | from NicOct 24 2003 - 23:20

Good christ, it's getting like Jerry Springer on here.
"Hicks confess to stupidity!"
When do you guys start chuckin furniture at each other?
"I had a rat tail first!".
"No, my rat tail was the original!"
"No, mine was more embarrassing, cause..."
WHHHAAMMM...
Jeff, think ya need those security guys from Boston.

Man, I'm so glad I was listening to Kim Wilde and Genesis in the 80's.

RE: NEW RELEASE!!! | from RipOct 24 2003 - 19:19

I had a rat tail in 1988 and I had a picture published in the local paper (pitching on the local school baseball team) Pretty friggin' embarrassing looking through Mom's scrapbook!

RE: NEW RELEASE!!! | from AlexOct 24 2003 - 18:36

I had a rat-tail in first grade, so that would have been 1991 or so.

RE: NEW RELEASE!!! | from ronOct 24 2003 - 16:48

it's funny to look back on times like that. it's slightly embarrassing, but it still kind of rules. in a way, aren't we doing the same thing now as "hipsters?" maybe when we're 50 years-old we'll look back and say, "ah, those were the days."

RE: NEW RELEASE!!! | from adamOct 24 2003 - 15:31

I too had a rat tail. And spikes. That was a good look. Maybe I'll reprise it for Halloween...

RE: NEW RELEASE!!! | from ronOct 24 2003 - 15:10

yes. i did have a rat tail. but i was 12 and it was like 1987, so consider me a hipster for the time. plus it was ohio. we have the freaking rock-n-roll hall of fame!!

RE: NEW RELEASE!!! | from ClemOct 22 2003 - 22:02

Yeah, but, Ron? You had a rat tail? Ahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahaahahhahahahahahahahahaahhaahahahahahahhaahahhahahhhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahhahaahhaahahahahahah....you silly boy.

RE: NEW RELEASE!!! | from RegalOct 21 2003 - 13:24

Now there certainly aren't any stereotypes being assumed in this discussion, right?
I think it would be safe to assume that the vast majority of Idaho fans think that Quiet Riot sucks, myself included.

RE: NEW RELEASE!!! | from marcOct 21 2003 - 12:06

Jeans which give young ladies, 'builder's arse'.

RE: NEW RELEASE!!! | from ronOct 21 2003 - 06:07

what exactly is a "hipster?" for serious.

RE: NEW RELEASE!!! | from cOct 21 2003 - 05:48

hehehe

RE: NEW RELEASE!!! | from AlexOct 20 2003 - 21:48

I don't know anything about Quiet Riot, but I agree with you that "hipsters are the worst music critics."

RE: NEW RELEASE!!! | from nope for sure againOct 20 2003 - 20:46

no, it is a great album you indie hipster clueless jackass...
hipsters are the worst music critics.

RE: NEW RELEASE!!! | from TimOct 20 2003 - 17:42

no quite riot is definately crap, mental health is just a horrible album, but nelson's got quite riot beat for worst band

RE: NEW RELEASE!!! | from nope for sureOct 20 2003 - 16:40

quite riot did not suck you jackass. typical indie music snob. they were rocking while you were in diapers. so what if they tour the midwest nowadays and play shows at pizza parlors...

RE: NEW RELEASE!!! | from ronOct 20 2003 - 14:49

we need to do a list of the top 5 (or 10) worst bands. paul sabo not included.

RE: NEW RELEASE!!! | from cOct 20 2003 - 05:29

well, it's almost as good as Quiet Riot, who was probably the worst band of all time, along with limp bizkit of course.

and i hope you guys will enjoy this post as much i enjoyed composing and posting it.

RE: NEW RELEASE!!! | from KeithOct 19 2003 - 16:30

well, "Let me know what you think."

You don't want to know.

RE: NEW RELEASE!!! | from ronOct 19 2003 - 14:06

gosh, are we a bunch of dicks or what?

RE: NEW RELEASE!!! | from AndrewOct 19 2003 - 13:39

Awful. The guitars sound horrible. The drum machine is the funniest part though. Actually it sounds like he's playing the drum parts on his keyboard with his fingers. Wow.

RE: NEW RELEASE!!! | from Jeff B. Oct 19 2003 - 12:48

"I hope listener's will enjoy these songs as much as I enjoyed composing and performing them." - Paul Sabo

Keep Hoping.
this blows.

RE: NEW RELEASE!!! | from ronOct 19 2003 - 07:01

uh... yeah... uh, so i listend to paul sabo. sounds like something i would have heard about 15 years ago at the public swimming pool on the classic rock station from akron.
it's certainly not the worst stuff i've ever heard, but i thought it was pretty bad. on lots of levels: poor lyrics, lack of melody, distasteful guitars, bad recording/engineering, and overall cock-rock feel.
if it were 1987 and i still had my rat-tail, i might like it.

RE: NEW RELEASE!!! | from AlexOct 18 2003 - 20:12

I'm just going to guess that I agree with you Craig, because most of the people on Soundclick.com are HORRIBLE! Probably 99.9% is crap. I won't complain too much though, cause my page gets a lot of hits and listens. Many more than on MP3.com, surprisingly. Anyway, the funniest thing on Soundclick is this idiot that calls himself "Metallica X". He claims to be signed to Sony and he knows "Jamez Hettfeild" as he spells it. It's some of the worst shit I've ever heard in my life.

RE: NEW RELEASE!!! | from CraigOct 18 2003 - 19:09

I really hate the first song. It's really crap. That's what I think. Very cheesy crappy music.
