yep.
btw I'm not suggesting you try write lyrics instead. Just thought is was a topic worth talking about.
nope.
That is a great song. Also alot of Aphex Twin (not including "Milkman" of course) and Boards of Canada.
"The Wedding" on Please Sennd Help by Soul Whirling Somewhere for instance. Maybe the best song on the album.
Instrumentals have just as much (sometimes more)power to move me as do songs with lyrics.
thats true
A jazz musician dies and goes to heaven. St. Peter meets him at teh pearlt gates and tells him heaven is one long jam session with the best jazz musicians of all time. The musician sees a guy in a pair of dark glasses, sitting with his back to everyone, playing his trumpet. "Who's that? he asks St. Peter. "Oh, don't pay any attention to him; that's God. He thinks he's Miles Davis."
Miles didn't need lyrics, but he was one of those all-I-have-to-do-is-walk-down-the-street-and-everyone-will-know-how-bad-a-motherfucker-I-am mutherfuckers.
so was hearts of palm......im having better luck improvising lyrics at the moment.....ill actually write some words soon i think.....its funny, i seem to be recording mainly instrumentals these days. still using my voice in these pieces though...just no words...did miles davis need lyrics?
"evolution is cold" was wung. from the sounds of it so was "you are there".
Hey jeff, This is not the first time that you've made up lyrics off the cuff is it? If so, which are some of the IDAHO songs where you have "Wung it"? BTW is this new decision because you've run out of topics to sing about or are you just trying something new?
I've always enjoyed your lyrics, they've always seemed so natural and honest.
