jeff tell me, at what point do you get to be in the perceptive mood to come up with the admirable lyrics that you do. Is it just your occassional moodswing and a poetic heart that'll do the trick, or is there a solid idea at the bottom of it all to build from?
i have been doing this kind of singing myself quite often. if you get into the right flow you can really get some great lyrics out of it. i only use it in the songwriting process though. not when the final version of the song is to be recorded.
yes it was
wasn't "evolution is cold" done that way? the results were really good in that case...
its not a new approach to writting lyrics...its that im not writting them at all....i improvise them with the tape rolling and just leave it at that....for now im liking the results ...mucho bueno
Jeff? New approach to writing lyrics?? I'm intrigued. You willing to elaborate??
id like to see a video of jeff naked playing a harpsachord

Question for Jeff :
Jeff, do three sheets in a BeeGees style. Whole record whomped up disco stylee, thumping beats, vocals bursting god's balls. Maybe a hit single? Popularity? Fame? Kudos? Cash?...
I'd love to hear Lemmy (Motorhead) covering "Hearts of Palm"
YES!!!! that's a kick-ass idea. i'd be happy to contribute. thanks for the props alex!
Certainly... with songs featuring guest appearances by Bored, Lurch, and Blue Astronaut.
jeff, how about a new death metal direction? The fans are getting restless and angry.
