Rough trade (specially the one in portobello market) is the holy bible indie rock shop.

Berwick street is indeed fab. Check out select a disk but all the second hand stores are fab and have tones of obscure stuff. Also check out Rough trade. There is one in Notting Hill and one in Neals yard ( just off Covent garden beneath a skate shop )
Things to do? In London??? You kidding??? Buy Time out when you arrive or the Guardian on a saturday ( has a cool guide in it ) For band listings NME is good ( just don't read the remedial articles! )
Fab museums, fab restaurants, cool shopping, loads of live music every night!!! Camden is fun too for seedy OTT market atmos.
Course, a day trip to Brighton has to be done too!!!

There's a street called Berwick St that has lots of great second hand record stores. It's the street that's on the front cover of Oasis' "what the story..." album. Reckless records is the best of 'em.

Hey you,
I'm going to London in a couple of weeks, can anyone recommend me any good record stores besides tower and that virgin store? You know one with more alternative music so to speak...

Thanx!
