yahoo groups are simple to start, though they are just glorified message boards and now need to have ALL groups with restricted membership due to all the spam bots. i'm the founder or moderator of several.

guys: i'm not really down with all the computer jive, so i guess i don't really know how to get one of those yahoo groups going... you just go to their site and click on the groups thing and start one, or what?
cleveland is a pretty OK town, i guess. it's somewhat a letdown considering the Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame is there... the cleveland scene doesn't have what i would call a rock scene... unless by "rock" you mean a bunch of bands ripping of Limp Bizkit or whatever...
i say we do the group. and i'll get it going if i can figure it out! thanks for the interest!

there used to be such a thing amongst Idaho fans maybe 6 or 7 years ago, long before this board was there. some of the die hards will remember maybe, well jeff certainly would. worked quite well for a while but at a certain point all was said. still, count me in.

It's a stupid idea...JUST KIDDING.
Seriously i grew up in Cleveland and i can understand the need for some artistic community. I think it can never be a bad thing to work/play with people who know where you are coming from. I live in NYC now and it's the same here.(more pretentous though.)
pursuing new things is never stupid.......unless it involves nipple clamps and vapor rub........ plungers...........ouch.

EVERYONE: i've noticed that Hollywood movies and sitcoms sometimes like to use Ohio as the state where the main character is from... or the state where their ex-girlfriend has moved to. Ohio is a cool place. the weather sucks, but... anyways... i think we [the Idaho message boarders] should start an email group so that i/we can share each other's music and other artistic endeavors.... maybe like a yahoo group or something. i know i play in a few bands that i would like to share with you guys... and i would like to hear your stuff, too. if this is a stupid idea, just tell me.
