The last few albums aren't dark like the old albums, but they're still sad...in a beautiful kind of way.

I was a bit shocked to see that there are three 'proper' Idaho albums I've not got. What have they been like since 1996? I've found I can't stomach too much 'sadcore' anymore, after about a decade of American Music Club and Red House Painters, not that I've gone all disco. Even some of the jarring but pretty open D chords i used ot like, like Eminor 11 now just make me laugh! There was always a bit of light in Idaho, though - and these others - but have they built on it, or will I stay well away? They seema bit tricky to find in the UK anyway. E'mails as welcome as postings.
