JR, just go get the thing set up at a music store or something. unless there's some serious problems with the neck or the truss rod, it's probably just an intonation problem. i have a '94 mexican tele and it's brilliant. in fact, i have yet to play a USA tele that sounds better. good luck!

i feel your pain, man. one time i bought a fucking kazoo that wouldn't work. the goddamn thing cost me almost $2. luckily i sold it to an unwitting kid down the street for $3!

i fucking bought a fucking shit guitar. it's impossible to tune it. it's a fender -93 (USA). the price was $700 and they guy who sold it is laughing all the way to the bank at this very moment i persume. i let a guitarfixing guy fix with it, but apperantly he could fix it either. now i will sell it to some poor bastard who will be fooled as well.
