My two favorite musical threesomes have to be Dinosaur Jr. and Husker Du. Equally contributing members? Probably not.

They're from Boston. I'm a little partial to Joyrides for Shutins myself. I saw their 10th anniversary show at the Paradise in September and they were just as good as the first time I saw them. They played nearly every song they had and ended with a long jam of Tomorrow Never Knows. How many bands have three members that write and sing songs of equally high quality? That's another topic.
whoa - i forgot all about the cavedogs. i used to love "soul martini", in fact i think i still have it somewhere...have to go find it
I had one of their albums, I thought it was pretty damn okay. Very upbeat, and cool. Where were they from anyway? (I'm using past tense assuming they are no longer)
There are just some bands that disappear, for one reason or another. I am a big fan of Love Battery, Swervedriver, and Truly. Bands that practically fell off the face of the earth. I actually read somewhere that Love Battery actually dissolved due to "Lack of interest." That broke my heart, when I read it. They were the cat's ass. I loved them.
Anyone miss the Cavedogs like I do????
