Just Like Heaven came out in 89 on a single,it was included on the Fossils compilation a few years later.

e-head.. i think the 'just like heaven' cover was on the "fossils" record on SST... came out in about '90 or '91 i think...hmmm.. keep on rockin'...
I've loved Dinosaur Jr ever since getting 'You're living all over me' way back when. I went to see Mascis and the Fog a few weeks ago being as Mike Watt is a legend in his own right (I used to be a big fIREHOSE fan) and I figured that if J played some old songs it'd justify the admission price.
He played quite a few old songs (including the 'Just like Heaven' cover) but the PA was so damn loud, it sounded terrible, I ended up leaving. I guess I'm getting old - I'll stick to my acoustic alt-country gigs in future.
i haven't heard that. what is it on??
Dinosaur Jr. is one of my favorite bands by far! I've been listening to them since i was like 14 or something. I celebrate their whole catalogue as well as J's solo stuff and the Fog. What do you guys thing of the Just Like Heaven cover that Dino pulled off?

J rules!Dino Jr. is one of my fav bands ever. You guys should check out freakscene.net it`s J`s fan web site, very cool.
I love Idaho too,you can hear J`s influence on Jeff.
J Mascis scored a movie, as well as doing a cameo in it. Its called Gas, Food and Lodging. I really liked it. All Dino J. fans should check it out.
I guess me and eraserhead are the only ones, huh?
Dino jr. is great. i have an amazing live accoustic album with j mascis which is very nice listening.
Dino J was a great band, Id say up until "Where You Been". J. Mascis' solo stuff is pretty good, with Mike Watt on bass and some vocals, though not quite up to par with Dino's heydey. J. is a nice guy for a semi-rockstar, or I could say ROCKSTAR on the underground scene. Met him here in Chicago during a show for The Fog, and he was gracious enough to receive our bands' CD with a grin and a nod. Anyone else a Dino J. fan here? Good stuff for good folks. By the way, Wayne Coyne, of The Flaming Lips, as genuine as he seems, is an irritable rockstar. I nicely dropped a CD to Wayne, and he not only rudely said, "We have 1000 CDs from other bands to listen to on the road", but also had the complete package rockstar attitude. What happened to the "I'm Wayne Coyne, I work at Long John Silvers for 7 bucks an hour to support my music habit (even after Sattelite Heart)? Beware all Flaming Lips fans for an unruly rockstar who hasn't quite reached stardom (even though his music is still great[maybe that's why the drummer left, though]).
