Thanks for the update Jeff. Looking forward to those releases. Been loving People Like Us Didn't Stop, Vol 2 CD. Especially the non album songs Ready To Go, Lately, Purple, Up For Living, & Bailout.

I know ti seem RIDICULOUS how long it's taking me too get these records out. 3 of them are currently in various stages of mixing. Lapse from 2022, Beautiful Things is basically my favorite stuff rom the 2010's and finally We Were Young II which is everything else.... which I still love btw! The universe works in strange ways ... yes the delay has been crazy but it's all working out in amazing ways. I'll leave it that :) Oh yes.... I will also release The Forbidden EP on 10" this year. Probably just a run of 100 in hand made letter press jacket.... they are going to be so fricken lovely. Not cheap to make so that will reflect in the price but a must have for any of the few Idaho fans that remain out there Haha!!

So Bobby and I are kicking butt out in 29 Palms and I'm putting the last touched on "Beautiful Things" LP which contains my favorite 10 songs recorded between '12 and '20. So 2 records are going to drop hopefully by years end(ish)

some good news on that front--

we will begin tracking later this month or the next out *in the desert* due to jeff's house being a construction zone right now. most of the gear has been shipped out there already. we are playing a show in santa barbara tomorrow, so we couldn't take apart the home studio completely since we had to rehearse.

all of the songs are there, hell, more songs than for just one album honestly. jeff n me and the rest of the band have been churning them out.

we will probably get the basic tracking done in a month or two with the full band, then jeff n me will most likely work on overdubs for a few months, then mixing, yada yada.. I could see it coming out next year.... :)

Any news on this front by any chance? A new Idaho album is always well worth waiting for, so if it takes until 2030 I'll still be as happy as a clam in a yodelling contest when it sees the light of day (seriously, clams are all about that sort of thing). Just curious.

hey Jeff-i loved the Days soundtrack-still listen to it-short spacious pieces that float around w/o the pressure/expectations/identity of an official idaho release-if your new film project yeilds a pile of similar stuff pls consider a compilation of shorts-maybe an eno-esque "music for films" cheers!

I know Ive been so remiss in finishing the next Idaho record it really is just ridiculous but in the end it will all be for the best. The TV pilot I have been making has spawned some great music and it's all leading to a wonderful album. I am going to make every effort to get this LP out before years end :)
