Yes,...a java programmer
What do you do for that company? Are you a programmer?
9-5 for me. More like 9-9 or something like that when I am on a project. I work for a relatively new Internet Services Consulting Firm specializing in application server technology.
In 1996 we spent about 3 or 4 months on the road, and things were threatening to start paying for themselves on tour (had I not lost about $1,000 in merchandise money in New York we would have made money on one of the last tours of that year). Recording and touring every so often may not make my living, but certainly makes my living more liveable. It is so very hard to make a living playing music. I always let out a little cheer when I hear of someone who has been able to make it work for them.
Just curious...do you guys make a living recording and touring? Do you have day jobs? As an amateur player who had to succumb to the nine to five, I'm always fascinated by this kind of thing.
