Where are you guys coming across this?
RE: Steering Wheel? | from fannyAug 14 2005 - 05:01
What are Jeff's thoughts on this being shared?
RE: Steering Wheel? | from CodreanuAug 14 2005 - 00:50
I have seen this shared by several users. I had the album queued for some time until the user rudely jettisoned the files. If anyone is sharing this, would you kindly post your slsk user-name?

"The Right Escape" is a B-side to "Pomegranate Bleeding".

i have been wondering the same thing ever since i came across a slsk folder by that name a few months ago. all tracks sound like demo versions of not all previously released songs:
1. Star 2. Hail Mary 3. a ten to noon 4. red snake 5.live segue 5 6. live segue 7 7. juke box 8. the right escape 9. ? 10. shoulder back 11-14. "1996 summer demo track"s 1-4
Star from "Skryscrape" single; "Red Snake" and "A Ten to Noon" from on the untraceable Drive It EP; Live Segues from PLUSBS; other demo versions? "The Right Escape" is a great meandering popsong that c/should have been on WWYANTM.
In "Juke Box" Jeff sounds like Sparklehorse or maybe Iron and Wine in a badly insulated submarine, and the other tracks all have something going for them as well ;)
would be very interested to know the origin/(source of leakage?) for this.

Does anybody know where this "album" called Steering Wheel came from? It seems to be a collection of odds and ends, like b-sides, etc.
