I just stumbled upon a used copy of this disc a few days ago, and it's well worth seeking out. The audio clips on Amazon.com really don't do it justice.

It's pretty hard to describe. There are definitely songs with some Idahoish character, but others have a strange Joan of Arc meets Stereolab feel.

ive seen flotilla play a few times and they definatley pull it off .. marks drumming is rock solid and terry's become a really good guitarist. i just hope his gift for playng bass is'nt falling by the wayside. christy schnabel, who sang back up on "the sun is all there is", recently contributed to some of terry's new stuff i hear.

i also really dig the flotilla cd. took me awhile to really warm up to it, but i really think its really solid. reminds me alot of moose in some spots. i've also been hard pressed to find any info. i know they have at least one single out that i saw once but didn't buy it, kicking myself now.

hey jeff - or anyone - what do you think of terry borden's/mark lewis' new band flotilla? i'm curious because i think they're great, but have gotten little or no attention since their record was released last year...
