Looking forward to it. The only good music on sounclick comes from this message board.

I was just getting into the first MP3.com site when it shut down. If the second one's even as good as the first, I'll be happy. I know bands will be really excited since so many people go to the site to discover new music. I just wonder how many people are going to click on 'sadcore' and 'slowcore'. Hopefully people will be interested just because they've never heard of it before.

About the negativity in this thread and discussion board as a whole, I know C used to post stuff about SWS and I like it too, and everyone here has different favorite bands that they mention from time to time, so why don't we have comments like that following all of our posts? I guess the guy just hates you Alex. : )

Oh yeah, and mp3.com is still in its beta testing stage, so I guess it'll be awhile until it's available. Supposedly, there are a lot of problems with it so far.

Hey David. I don't know what the pages and features are actually like yet. People who upload songs aren't able to see that yet either. Just the genres and all that stuff. I just have a feeling it's gonna be a really good site. I could be totally wrong though. I guess if the current state of the music industry is any indication, it will really suck. I agree with you about soundclick.com. The good song to bad song ratio seems to be about 500 to 1.

Nice how good news of a big new music website brings out the worst in some music fans. You are a music fan, aren't you Mr. Message Board Troll?

"Aw, crap...I thought I was harrassing people from Idaho..."

That's cool news Alex. There really hasn't been a good replacement for mp3.com since its untimely death. I haven't ever discovered any new bands on Soundclick that were any good, although it's been funny hearing how bad a lot of them are. It's good to see that these corporate people are even aware of sadcore and slowcore. Interesting indeed. Too bad non-artists can't see any of the new site yet. Do the artist pages and all that stuff look cool?

RE: The new mp3.com | from Apr 19 2004 - 17:13

he's not from an english-speaking country you asshole. your compulsion to visit this message board and post such mean-spirited nonsense is what's sad.

which reminds me of why I tend to saying the board goodbye.
I sort of did already, but i seem to have become an addict after all these years.

Looks like it's gonna be pretty good. I'm uploading my stuff right now, and they have Sadcore and Slowcore categories. Thought that was pretty funny/interesting...
