RE: why is clouded the most beautiful song ever? | from g.n.Nov 26 2003 - 07:40
Right now, I'm listening to Drive It a lot. it's pretty neat-o.

I'm with Ali and co. Sweep. I'll never get tired of that song. All time fave.
shame, bass crawl, trip over yesterday's unwinding
"sweep" is on the "this way out" album. it's an incredible song indeed.
I dont think I have sweep, is it from an ep? Im dying to hear itafter reading all these rave reviews.
Yep: sweep for me. Absolute perfection. Still can turn me to jelly after 10 years. That song is EXACTLY how I feel inside.
sweep
I've decided that if I could only listen to one Idaho song, it'd be "Sweep."
levitate is soooo good. but can there be just one? i don't think so. too many good songs, my mind would change with each listen.
lately...but there could never be just one. that's just the one for now
alive again
Sweep
Ten to noon
Glass bottom
A sound awake
Taken
Skyscrape
Signs of life
..............
Looks like "Stare At The Sky" and "To Be The One" are a common response here, both of which I agree.
Skyscrape
Stare at the sky
Dum dum
to be the one
i'm with JR.. 'levitate' is by far the most delicate and beautiful song. and "star."
other honorable mentions go to:
bass crawl.
zabo/forever.
the only road.
stare at the sky.
to be the one.
losing light.
alta dena.
casa mia... okay... might as well put the entire levitate album on there.
'levitate' is my fav song most often.
I can't choose just one song from idaho's entire catalog. I have my favorites from each album, but not one single song that I think is better than everthing.
If we're talking about all Idaho songs, I'd never be able to choose just one and stick with it. Right now I'd say "Stare At The Sky" is the winner, but that could change tomorrow.
My "most beautiful" Idaho song is "Get You Back". and "Save" as well.
I'd have to go with "To Be The One" for the Most Beautiful Song On Hearts Of Palm Award.
this cloud were on is most definatly the most beautiful song on hearts of palm. the thing that is most striking to me about it, is the awesome guitar parts.
Nope.
its so tragically beautifully fragmented...
heart-wrenching, soul-clenchingly perfect.
anyone?
