Jiggery Pokey is a great disc. The King of Good Intentions is a classic disc. After numerous plays, TKOGI belongs with my "Inner Circle" of music - Joy Division, early New Order, Mission of Burma, Psychedelic Furs, early Cure, Husker Du, My Bloody Valentine, early Swervedriver, Superchunk, and everything done by Idaho, save Year after Year......

i don't know, but jack rabid of the big takeover loves them. they were in his top 5 records for last year.

does anyone around here like the band the black watch as much as i do (the one from L.A., not that traditional scottish bagpipe group or somesuch)?? they're in the retrophonic "roster" of artists (coming soon!). i just heard their new album "very mary beth" and it's absolutely fantastic. why aren't more people talking about them??
