I'd love to hear anything you have to offer. And yes, SWS songtitles are spectacular, aren't they. The music and lyrics are just as hard-hitting. Good luck.

Yep, I'm still here - holding stuff together, drinking heavily and calling on some long-time overdue friendship reunions...

I'm tracking down SoulWhirlingSomewhere records now, as having heard snippets of them on Amazon.co.uk, I'm intrigued. The song titles are really fantastic, and I'm just hoping that the musical side of things holds up. ("How to hang yourself", and "I should throw myself under a train", whilst not what I'm about do sound like interesting songs :)

Like everyone says, life goes on - I've started eating and sleeping properly again, and I'm not permanently miserable. I've also given the Forbidden E.P. a spin - tough going, but I miss Bass Crawl - such a simple, yet beautiful song. Maybe next tour Jeff/John???

Well, I'm now going to finish the latest song I'm working on, entitled "20 percent" (that's the percentage period of time that I've "wasted" with my ex - not that I'd have changed the last five years for anything, but hey... maybe when I've got it down with the rest of my band, people may want to hear it.

Thanks to all of you for the help

Adam

The Original Adam: firstly, i am sorry that you're experiencing the pain of a break-up. my advice is really simple: absorb it. really experience it. the truth is, unless your suicidal--in which case you have more wrong than just a break-up--this is NOT the end of the world. but it might feel like it for now.
you should take this time to fully experience this... allow it to become the Ontological event that it is... don't force anything, don't take things too slowly... just let it flow.
and as for the music... Idaho, and all music, is a gift... and it's a gift for us all. continue to enjoy it and share it with others. MAKE NEW MEMORIES TO OLD SONGS. God bless ya, bro! hang in there.
