what are you clicking open?

apple, in their wisdom, made some of the quicktime installers actually only small programs which connect you to the internet to download the full quicktime, which is daft if you have just downloaded the small installer...

thanks marc...but there is nothing to even fast forward...every time I click "open", it just begins to download again...I'm giving up, but thanks anyway

i presume you have downloaded the most recent version of quicktime (v.6)?

also, at the beginning of the video it is pretty much silent, anyway. Maybe try fast forwarding to the middle to double check?

ok...forgive me, but I downloaded the movie and a Quicktime player, but I only get sound and no picture...can anyone help? this is torture....
