How about a show with Rivulets?

I met Michael in Phoenix lasat year. a very nice guy. I'm sorry, I must confess I don't know his music. (I think Jeff told me they were really good though) That wouldn't stop me from booking a show with them though..
Idaho might do a show somewhere if it looks like a tour in Europe could happen.

Somehow, I had never thought about Michael Plaster's voice sounding like Mark Kozelek's, but it really does. I would definitely have to disagree with you on the music sounding alike, though. I would compare his music to American Music Club/Mark Eitzel the most. This is very noticeable in parts of "Please Sennd Help", and fairly noticeable on earlier albums as well. Also, introducing yourself to SWS with downloaded clips will not give a good representation of the music. For the fullest intro to the emotional onslaught that is SWS, I highly recommend listening to "Hope Was" with headphones on and the lyric sheet in hand. If you have ever gone through a horrible breakup or your heart is just plain broken, this should affect you greatly.

I checked out some sound bites of the SWS guy - to me, his voice & his music sound kinda like Mark Kozelek of the Red House Painters. Yes? No?

on amazon.com, "please sennd help" by SWS is paired up with "we were young..." as a great buy at $33. even amazon is starting to make the connection!

Just thought I'd write something here so this thread would move to the top again and Jeff and JB would notice and respond to the SWS questions.

Or Idaho and Brian Straw. Or Richard Buckner. Or The Black Watch.

Jeff, I've seen a few threads on this, but never caught an answer...what do you think of SWS? He seems to have nice things to say about you on his site which is cool. (shows he has good taste at least) Are you guys friends? Any chance you would do a show together? Would be an amazing show...
