RE: the sun is all there is | from JBMar 18 2003 - 11:24

RE: the sun is all there is | from 'OL RAND Mar 18 2003 - 09:12

(we love you too JB.. i'm afraid i must resign from this thread. why don't you just come over tonight, say, 8:00PM, and then you can really "arrest" me... my wife will have the camera/plastic sheets ready... holy shit, wtf am i saying ?!)

RE: the sun is all there is | from JBMar 17 2003 - 18:18

(Actually, the suit's pretty cool . it's a stain-resistant "pleather" w/hood!)

You'll dig it!

RE: the sun is all there is | from JBMar 17 2003 - 18:13

Hey RANDY!

RE: the sun is all there is | from RANDY CANDYMar 17 2003 - 07:58

hey, these handcuffs are starting to hurt ... and what's with that strange shiny-black suit you're wearing ?

RE: the sun is all there is | from Sgt. JBMar 14 2003 - 20:57

Alright BERG - That's just about enough out of you!! Here I am sittin here minding my own business, when my ever vigilant eye catches you puttin' me on front street !!?? Well I see now that I must tear myself away from wonderous serenity and start crackin' some fuckin' heads! To begin, you will now be known as RANDY. I feel this is a suitable name change for you and a befitting punishment for your "crime". So thanks for your "input" RANDY.

(Just kidding Ashley, you know we love you..)

RE: the sun is all there is | from ashley bergMar 14 2003 - 11:11

hey alex n., i'd have to agree with you.. i like the "other" idaho song off the shanti project comp. if my memory serves me, it's called "trip over" and is just jeff w/guitar & piano

"...gonna drive to boston..."

RE: the sun is all there is | from ashley bergMar 14 2003 - 11:07

wait a sec... jeff, did you just mention that you gave booze to your sis and friends while they were still in elementary school ?? ouch ?!

JB, where did you and the 'board' police go ?? i'm not sure if this type of material is at all appropriate to post for those 'idaho-virgins' out there to read... we don't want them to get the wrong idea about the martin/berry early daze now, do we ??!!

8^).......

Fremane, I just realized that your Idaho discovery is the exact same as mine. I had kind of been wondering what Idaho sounded like because of good reviews on Allmusic.com, but I originally bought the Shanty Project Collection for the RHP tracks.

RE: the sun is all there is | from Alex N.Mar 13 2003 - 15:59

I actually like the other Idaho song on that collection better. I can't remember the name.

RE: the sun is all there is | from fremaneMar 13 2003 - 13:05

"the sun is all there is" is the first idaho song i ever heard. i bought the Shanti Project Collection because Red House Painters are my favorite band. i heard said song, and it turned me on to idaho, who i am now in love with. hurrah!

RE: the sun is all there is | from jeffMar 09 2003 - 23:12

i just ran into christy's brother on a hike today...i may ask her to do some backing vocals ...shes darn right good aint she? ive known madam schnable since she was 10 i think...she was my sisters best friend when they were in elementary school...i was the big brother that would give them booze ...

RE: the sun is all there is | from meMar 09 2003 - 17:38

Hey Jeff...Any chance you will work with the gal from The Sun is All There Is again??? That song is so friggin good, my cd is practically worn out

RE: the sun is all there is | from JR OlssonMar 07 2003 - 15:47

i am not gonna rude now because you do not know the background mr. cranky pants. i really am doing my best to get the albums. not very easy in sweden when they're not even distributed here. i did'nt even know there was a band called idaho during the entire 90s so it's pretty difficult right NOW to get me the old albums. maybe you are furtunate enough but i am not. so i am just doing the best of the situation as of now. searching everywhere for the albums, while listening to my shitty mp3s. at least i got something to listen to by my fav band til the albums comes knocking on my door.

RE: the sun is all there is | from cranky-pantsMar 07 2003 - 15:06

save is from their first album!!!! 'Year After Year' . try supporting these bands, whom you like enough to post about, by buying their albums.

sheese.

sorry.

RE: the sun is all there is | from JROMar 07 2003 - 13:18

meaning one of MY fav tracks.

RE: the sun is all there is | from JR OlssonMar 07 2003 - 13:17

thanks for the info. so it is not featured on any album? what a shame. it's one of the top tracks i have heard by the band.

and it makes no difference no matter who you are | from RossMar 07 2003 - 13:14

"The sun is all there is" is exactly what it's called. It's off the Shanty Project Compilation.

I'm not sure about "Save"...

RE: the sun is all there is | from JR OlssonMar 07 2003 - 12:53

and while i'm on it. i have a song called 'save'. where from?

song question | from JR OlssonMar 07 2003 - 12:35
