Yeah, I checked out John's songs. They were so good.

Is it something in the water down there? What?

Is that John Goldman stuff available yet? Just wondering.

I saw deus a couple of years ago at the viper room and I was very impressed, though there was that palpable tension in the air among band members. They make really cool music, but they are definately rock stars. No shoegazers there. I don't get to the record store nearly as often as I should, so the things I have been liking are a bit out of date. I really like 7 of the 12 songs on the last PJ Harvey record. I also finally got around to appreciating that Yo La Tengo record with Julie Christy on it. They make so many really good records sometimes it is hard to get excited about a new one. I have also been on a sort of nostalgia trip with old Clash records. I think I am going to get a chance to see that English documentary this week! I keep popping the tape of our bass player John Goldman in my car every time I go for a drive. It is sublimely beautiful and unfortunately not available anywhere yet. I am going to mine the selections on this list and make a big trip to the record store.
